The hunt the Arcanes were on was a failure; nothing short of a disaster, really. The pack has not yet learned how to operate as a unit, and it has cost them a number of injuries, including Genoveva's broken rib, as well as the pain of an empty stomach. What with winter fast approaching, they cannot afford to miss a decent meal. So, Iannon and Logan have gone off together to find someone suitable to eat for the pack.

Meanwhile, back with the rest of them, Roxii seems to be making an attempt at being a little more social, while Fenrae holds down the fort for Logan, and Timber, Loni and Casolt keep an eye on Gena. They are also keeping close tabs on the news of the Tsunami Wolves in response of Indonesia's warning, despite the fact that the warning did come from a tagged wolf.
